where it all began...
Born in Kent, England, in 2002, Georgie grew up in a home where music was always playing. Thanks to her parents’ love of music, she was introduced to everything from pop and rock to reggae, disco, jazz and funk, all these genres forming part of the soundtrack to her childhood.
Her love of rhythm began early too. She started ballet at three, followed by tap dancing, developing a natural connection to movement and rhythm.
At around five, the High School Musical films sparked her love of singing. Learning to sing along to their songs marked the beginning of a passion that would continue to grow.

the move to france...
In 2010, at the age of seven, Georgie moved with her family to the Charente-Maritime region of south-west France. She continued her training in ballet, contemporary and jazz dance, while discovering a growing passion for singing through her school choir. She began piano lessons at the age of nine and a year later sang on stage for the first time. She later joined a local musical theatre group for two years.
At thirteen, Georgie joined the professional jazz sextet The Sugar Hearts, performing with the group for more than six years and gaining invaluable experience as a young musician.
Always curious about different styles of music, she began experimenting with songwriting and production, releasing her first track, the London Grammar-inspired chill EDM song Free, as well as two EDM tracks produced with her brother James. During her final two years at school, she was the leader of the choir at her former primary school.

During the first year of the Covid pandemic, Georgie decided to stay with her family in Charente-Maritime and follow online courses including Berklee Online’s General Music Studies programme and an Acting for Screen course with the National Youth Theatre. It was during this time that she began writing the songs that would eventually become her debut album.
In 2021, Georgie moved to Paris to pursue her musical studies, spending a year at Cours Florent Musique where she developed her skills in music production, stage performance and lyric writing. She then went on to study jazz for three years at IMEP - Paris College of Music, focusing on improvisation, ear training and arranging and learning from teachers including Rick Margitza, Josiah Woodson and Peter Giron.
In November 2023, Georgie released her debut album My Gramps Was a Jazzman : ten compositions written in English, French and Spanish, recorded with her quartet and guest musicians including award-winning saxophonist Géraldine Laurent. The album had a release concert at the Paris jazz club Sunset/Sunside and Georgie continues to perform and jam regularly around the city.
Alongside her own music, Georgie has been a singer with Cuban music group Cariba y Amigos since 2022 and became a founding member of Paris-based pop-soul group Confessions in 2023, continuing to explore different musical worlds and styles.

In May 2026, Georgie realised a musical dream with Symphonic Jazz, a special concert with the Orchestre Symphonique des Vals de Saintonge. Bringing 35 musicians together on stage, the performance featured Georgie’s original compositions and her own arrangements for orchestra, combining a jazz rhythm section of piano, bass and drums with saxophones, trumpet, trombone and more than 20 strings. It was a particularly special milestone for Georgie, who hopes to bring the show back in 2027.
With her quartet, Georgie has also performed at festivals and venues including Montélimar Agglo Festival, Festival de Fontdouce, Festival Jazz Transat and the Sunset-Sunside Vocal Sessions. Now primarily based in Paris, she continues to perform and jam regularly alongside musicians from the city’s jazz scene.
She is currently working on her second album through which she hopes to bring together her love of jazz, pop and groove, with a planned release in late 2027.
